Motorcycle Accident Kills Rider

An unidentified Los Angeles motorcyclist died at the scene of a wreck on Tuesday. The accident occurred when a driver turned left in front of the motorcycle in Victorville traffic, according to sheriff's investigators.

The collision occurred at 11:55 a.m., near the Home Depot entrance close to Roy Rogers and Civic drives. The San Bernardino coroner's office has not released any more information.

The 35-year-old motorcyclist was on a Honda CBR 1000. A man and a woman in a Toyota Camry collided with the Honda after leaving the Home Depot parking lot, according to a written statement by sheriff spokeswoman Karen Hunt.

6 Days After Crash, Corona Motorcyclist Dies from Injuries

The family of a motorcyclist killed in a traffic collision is suing Corona, alleging the city was responsible for dangerous conditions at the intersection where the crash occurred.

The city of Corona faces a civil lawsuit from the family of a motorcyclist who died after a traffic collision. The family holds that Corona was responsible for unsafe conditions at the site of the accident.

Paul Gougeon's family -- Ruth, Steven and Madeline Gougeon, as well as Nicole Shuey -- filed a lawsuit on Feb. 4, claiming Corona's negligence in maintaining the area for safe traffic. The area in question is the intersection at Ontario Avenue east of Vesper Circle. The family says that the intersection, near the Corona Village Shopping Center, was in unsafe condition and led to Rene Gougeon's wrongful death.

The city says the allegations do not hold weight. Officials maintain that the intersection was properly secure.

Ontario CA Driver Arrested After Deadly Motorcycle Crash

Police say yesterday's fatal crash at Euclid Avenue and Holt Boulevard in Ontario was the result of drunken driving.

At 5:24 p.m. on Wednesday, Chris David Wilcox of Montclair made a left turn and hit motorcyclist Sebastian Bobby Orioli Jr. Orioli, an Upland resident, died several hours later as the result of his injuries. He passed at Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Orioli was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, while Wilcox was in a Chevy Suburban.

Wilcox was booked after a 6:30 p.m. arrest. He is being investigated for drunken driving and child endangerment, according to jail records. Two children, aged 3 and 5 years, were in the Suburban at the time of the accident.

Detective Jeff Higbee's statement indicates that Wilcox's Suburban was "traveling south on Euclid Avenue," while the Harley-Davidson was "traveling north on Euclid." The accident occurred when Wilcox made a left turn onto Holt Boulevard.

Wilcox is still in jail today. He is being held on $100,000 bail.

Upland Motorcyclist Succumbs to Injuries from Accident

A motorcycle accident in Ontario proved fatal this morning.

Sebastian Bobby Orioli Jr., a 38-year-old from Upland, died approximately seven hours after a vehicle struck him on Wednesday afternoon. The accident occurred at Euclid Avenue and Holt Boulevard.

He died at Loma Linda University Medical Center at 12:23 a.m. today. He was taken there immediately following the accident.

Police in Ontario are investigating the fatal incident further.
